1903 Darracq 24hp Model JJ Rear-Entrance Tonneau Brings £550,640

A 1903 Darracq 24hp Model JJ Rear-Entrance Tonneau took pole position at Bonham’s annual London to Brighton Run Sale. The annual sale coincided with the extremely popular London to Brighton outing, which took place last Sunday 4th November 2018. The top lot of the sale was the imposing 1903 Darracq 24hp Model JJ Rear-Entrance Tonneau which took part in the legendary Paris-Madrid Tour. Eventually selling for a staggering £599,640, against a pre-sale estimate of £550,000-650,000.

It was good to see that Bonham’s were spot on with their guide estimate at this sale, a similar model visited our workshops for a gearbox rebuild and other engine related work.
